My favorite people. The 4 most real and genuine people you will ever meet. These 4 are such an inspiration to me. Whether it be their music, from the lyrics to the beat, or to something funny they say in an interview, I am proud to say I’m a Hey Monday fan. And I will be one forever.

Hello Pimps!I just wanted to take a minute to remind you about everything going in Hey Monday world. :)
General Hey Monday News
The band just returned from a trip to Brazil and (as I’ve gathered from all the tweets, videos and pictures) they had an AMAZING time. Head over to Hey Monday Brazil’s website to check out tons of videos and pictures from all the shows they played while there.

According to Hey Monday’s Twitter, they will be releasing a limited edition t-shirt and lithograph bundle soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Let’s Get Reckless is putting together an awesome yearbook format scrapbook for the band and they need your help! They’ve extended the deadlines for all the sections they’ve announced so far so make sure you take advantage of that. For full details about how you can help, read this.
We are trying to get Alex featured in Alternative Press magazine and it’s up to you guys to make it happen. Plus, just for your effort you get entered into a drawing to win Hey Monday merch! Write a letter to AP telling them you would love to see Alex featured in the My First Band segment. After you have the envelope filled out, take a picture and e-mail it to teampimpshaw@gmail.com with your first and last name and Twitter or Tumblr name. Simple as that! You have until this Thursday, September 8 at 11:59 PM MST.

Want to help get Pimpshaw in AP magazine AND get entered to win some Hey Monday merch? Read this!
If you read Alternative Press you may have noticed they have a section called My First Band where musicians talk about previous bands they have been in. Well hopefully by now you know Alex was in a few bands before Hey Monday was formed and I think it would be really rad if AP did an article on him!
So here’s where you guys come in. I think if enough people suggest it AP will consider it so I decided to make a little contest out of it :)
Here’s what you have to do:1. Write a letter to AP magazine and tell them you would love to see Alex featured in the My First Band section (mention that he is in Hey Monday so they know who he is)
2. Take a picture of the envelope before you send it filled out with your name, AP’s address and a stamp and e-mail a picture to teampimpshaw@gmail.com with your first and last name and Twitter or Tumblr name (this is your entry into the contest)
3. Everyone who sends me proof that they wrote a letter will be entered in to a drawing to win any shirt from Hey Monday’s merch store and a copy of Beneath It All!
